Quick update

We had a good night. Elijah slept well. Nate and I not so much. We are home now! We got discharged around 11. Elijah has done better than expected with the special feeders we have to use. He just ate 4oz...slowly building our way back up to 6 per feeding but will take it slow. 

There is already a big difference in him. He is still out of it but when he is awake he wants to sit up more, he coos, he let's us know if we aren't feeding him right. Big difference from the dazed and confused baby from yesterday. 

He only had to have IV morphine just after surgery. The rest of his pain has been easily controlled by oral medication.  

The three of us are going to nap for a bit.
