Zanzibar Macchiato

I finally walked into town by myself successfully, twice now this week. I didn't get lost and only had to ask Nate one time how to get home. :) It's about a 30 minute walk into town, so both yesterday and today, I thought I would stop by my favorite coffee shop here (pretty Mzungu place, but delicious). I'm hooked on the Zanzibar Macchiato. I've had it iced and hot...and either way, it's delicious. I justify spending time in this fairly touristy spot and spending Tsh 4500 ($3) on this drink because I spend time studying Swahili which I then practice with the waiter (same waiter every time) and people who want to talk to the Mzungu walking on the street. It is essentially like a latte or iced latte on which they pour this syrup of Zanzibar spices on top (not sure what spices, but it's very flavorful). Here are pictures of this magnificent creation:
